Here is a listing of my favorite quilting/sewing tutorials (and of course some recipes I want to try.) Some are mine, some are links to other pages around the web. If you know of an amazing tutorial, please share it with me.
Quilting Tutorials or Patterns
"Hidden" finish on binding - I have seen and used this technique for finishing my binding with an angled seam, but I can never remember exactly how to do it. This is my go-to video that I watch pretty much every time I am finishing the binding on a quilt.

Flying Geese - this tutorial covers three different ways for making a flying gees unit. None of them require special rulers or other equipment - more money for fabric! It also includes the instructions for making a dutchman's puzzle block, using the flying geese units. A LOT of information packed into one tutorial.


Other Sewing Projects
Thimble or Coin pouches - these are very functional, cute and use recycled plastic lids!

Dumpling Pouches - adorable little zip up pouches!

Gym Bag - actually a trio of bags to take to the gym

"Diaper" Bag - it may be called a diaper bag, but that just means it is a larger bag with pockets!

6 pocket bag - a girl can never have too many pockets!!!

Skittles bag - A small zippered pouch made out of a candy wrapper - too cute!!!! What pre-teen wouldn't love this for a gift!

Lemon Pudding - It’s called Lemon Pudding but it isn’t exactly pudding because there is a sponge cake topping that just magically happens on top
